If you’ve recently had a personal branding shoot with me – first of all, thank you! I hope you’re loving your new images and already putting them to good use.
But professional photos are just the beginning. To really get value from your investment, here’s how to use your images effectively and consistently across your brand.
Build a bank of content
Create a folder with all your edited photos so they’re easy to access
Group them by type: headshots, behind-the-scenes, lifestyle, working shots
Use them regularly in your content to keep your brand consistent
Plan ahead with your campaigns
Match your images to upcoming launches, offers, or events
Use photos in social media ads, email campaigns, and on your website
Keep your visuals aligned with your message for a professional, polished look
Get noticed with strong visuals
Use high-res images for press opportunities, podcasts, and features
Include a headshot and a working/lifestyle image in your media kit
Make it easy for others to promote you with a professional photo ready to go
Know when to refresh
Update your branding photos every 12–18 months, or after a big change
Book a new shoot if your look, offer, or brand direction has shifted
Keep your visuals current so they reflect where your business is today
